How long we keep your information - retention schedule
If you opted in to receive our marketing newsletter, we will keep your personal data until you decide to unsubscribe in which case we no longer hold your personal data and it will be removed from our ESP and website.
We conduct data hygiene of contacts no longer engaging with our marketing once a year, we will remove your personal data after a re-engagement email.
You can email us directly to request deletion of your personal data at; hello@strawbelladigital.com and it will be removed within one month.
For clients, we will hold onto your personal data records for 5 years in case you would like to purchase another service from us in the future at which point we will delete your data if we do not hear from you after 5 years of purchasing a service from us.
Who we share information with
Third party data processors, are tech vendors such as Mailchimp, Converter Kit, Squarespace, proposal agreement vendors, invoicing vendors.
This data processor does the following activities for us: The data processor collects personal data for marketing purposes such as dispatching a newsletter to your email address, invoicing and processing proposals to your email address, marketing preferences such as processing opting in to receive marketing, processing unsubscribes via forms or updating personal interests via forms. The data processor collects personal data to also send proposal agreements and invoices.

Sharing information outside the UK
Where necessary, we may transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Organisations such as: Third party vendors, for example email service providers, Converter Kit, Campaign monitor, Mailchimp, proposal vendors, invoicing vendors.
Category of recipient: Technology storage providers for email addresses, first names, last names, bank transfer for making payments by PayPal or bank, postal address, and telephone number.
Country the personal information is sent to: Various third party vendors outside of the UK will have access to personal data we collect, they will be storing personal data on our behalf to process it.
How the transfer complies with UK data protection law
We will sometimes work with external third party vendors who are based outside of the UK. Their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK.
Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to your personal data. Where possible we will transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.
Where this is not possible, we will ensure that the transfer of your personal data is done lawfully. We will make careful enquiry of the credentials and processes of any third party.
